  • Club pays tribute to staff and students at the GFC School.

    Since the Covid pandemic hit in 2019, life has been disrupted for everyone, all over the world. One of the groups that have unfortunately been impacted the most are school students in what has proved one of the most challenging times for education in the nation’s history.

     

    Gillingham FC footballers therefore wanted to pay tribute to the hard work of staff and students at The GFC School who worked tirelessly as a strong community to meet each challenge head on.

  • The GFC School's River Medway Challenge

    The GFC School are aiming to row the entire length of the River Medway, from the 'comfort' of MEMS Priestfield Stadium, in our oar-some charity challenge!

    Staff and students will be pushing themselves to the limit on 19th Nov. 2021 in this physically demanding task to raise as much money as they can for Children in Need!

    Using two rowing machine we will be alternating rowers throughout the school day, pushing our minds and bodies to the limit, whilst learning about historical landmarks along the river as we pass them.

  • UNICEF Bronze Award

    The GFC School are proud to have been awarded the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Bronze Award. The aim now is to achieve Silver before going for Gold!

     

    The Bronze award means that The GFC School’s Senior Leadership Team understands what is involved in the award and is committed to embarking on the UNICEF UK rights respecting journey. 

     

    The school recognises the importance of the UN Convention on the Right of the Child (UNCRC) and aims to help improve the wellbeing of all children and young people and whilst making sure they realise their potential. UNCRC recognises that all children have the right to be treated with dignity, fairness, to be protected, to develop their full potential and to participate.

  • National Online Safety Award

    The GFC School are proud to announce that we are now a National Online Safety certified school! We successfully completed a comprehensive online safety training programme demonstrating our commitment to keeping children and young people safe online. Well done to all involved!

  • Goodbye Year 11s

    An emotional goodbye for our amazing  Year 11s who were clapped out of the building by our proud staff after finishing on 24th June.
